The Schedule:
Your baby's first year is marked by rapid development. Each month is filled with meeting many different milestones, including laughing, holding objects, sitting up, and much more. It is important to keep in mind that infants develop at different rates. Each infant is fed, napped, and has play time according to their own schedule.
The learning environment of our infant room is designed to help meet the needs of all stage of infant development, including language, cognitive, social/emotional, and motor development. We have many various educational toys that are rotated on a regular basis, depending on the developmental level of the babies in the room. While the classroom is licensed for 8 children, we have limited the capacity to only 4 so that the infants have more room to develop their ever important gross motor skills, such as crawling and walking. There is also an outdoor infant play area so the babies may breathe in the fresh air and take in some natural scenery.
